Tyler-Marie Deveau completed her B.S. at the University of California, Santa Cruz in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and her post-baccalaureate studies at the University of California, of San Francisco.  Her topics of research have ranged from exploring T-cell development in autoreactive transgenic mouse models, HIV latency and cure, to SARS-CoV-2 infection and the long-term effects of infection. She joined Dr. Reed’s lab in July 2024 as an IMMP PhD student and is a recipient of the KUHR-TN TL1 Program Fellowship Award. Her research investigates the role of protein binding partners with HLA when bound by DSA and their mechanisms of action to elucidate the activated endothelium and polarized macrophage phenotype seen in TV and graft rejection under the mentorship of Yi Ping Jin.
