About
Naveen Yadav received his PhD in the field of Infection and Immunology from the lab of Prof. Sarat K. Dalai at Nirma University, India. There he explored the role of Self MHC-I signaling in survival of CD8+ T cells using a Plasmodium berghei infection mouse model. He was also actively involved in other research projects investigating the strategies to improve the efficacy of T cell-based vaccines. At present, he is investigating the mechanistic action of the immunosuppressive drug-induced, particularly MMF-induced, immune dysregulation in solid organ transplant recipients following SARS-CoV2 vaccination. The outreach goal of the study is to help design better management strategies for use of immunosuppressive drugs in solid organ transplant recipients during vaccination.
