Reed Lab

Researching the Immunology of Graft Rejection and Infection in Transplantation

Welcome to the Lab!

The Reed Lab focuses on understanding the immunological mechanisms of graft rejection and infection seen in transplantation. Projects include elucidating the effect of HLA and non-HLA antibodies on transplant injury, determining the mechanisms behind ischemia-reperfusion injury, and using systems immunology techniques to study viral and bacterial infections in the immunocompromised patient.

Featured Projects

Reed Lab studies the mechanisms of immune responses and their downstream effects in multiple conditions such as antibody-mediated rejection (AMR) in multiple solid organ transplants, ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) in liver transplants, and persistent versus resolving viral and bacterial infections.
