Allyson Terry presented her work at the Molecular and Medical Pharmamcology Department Retreat this weekend. Her poster focused on the ability of blood from liver transplant patients to induce migration of innate immune cells to the donor organ. This line of research supports the liver ischemia-reperfusion (IRI) project, as increased immune infiltration in the donor organ is indicative of IRI. The research was well-recieved by judges and other members of the Molecular and Medical Pharmacology Department.
Well done Allyson and congratulations on presenting your first poster as a member of the Reed Lab!
