Rebecca Sosa was presented with the first-place award for best poster at the annual UCLA I3T Retreat earlier this week. This retreat highlights the groundbreaking work taking place at UCLA in the fields of Immunity, Inflammation, Infection, and Transplantation (I3T). A full summary of the event can be found here.
Rebecca's poster supported work on the ischemia-reperfusion injury (IRI) project in the lab. It focused on the role of different oxidation states of HMGB1 in the manifestation of IRI in human orthotopic liver transplant patients. Well done Rebecca and congratulations on your award!
